Daryl Hall and John Oates in The 1970s and 1980s

One of my favorite music acts ever is the duo of Daryl Hall and John Oates. Some of their earliest hits, such as “Rich Girl” and “Sarah Smile,” were among the first songs I fell in love with when I first started listening to music when I was a kid in the 1970s.

I was just starting high school in the 1980s when Hall and Oates began having a very successful consecutive run of hit albums which contained many of their most popular songs, including “Kiss On My List,” “Private Eyes,” “Maneater,” “One On One” – and several others.

Since I love the duo’s music from the 1970s and 1980s so much, I did two episodes of my Gotta Pop podcast about it all. Joining me in these episodes is my friend Dave LeGates. He and I met over 20 years ago in an online Hall and Oates fan group and we’ve been friends ever since.

In these episodes, we share our thoughts on all of the music released by Daryl Hall and John Oates during the first two decades they were together. If you’re a fan of them, you may enjoy these shows.

I’m going to provide both the YouTube and Spotify versions of the episodes here, but if you use Apple Podcasts or Amazon, the episodes are also available on those platforms.

Enjoy!
